In this review, we compare Natural Genius Turmeric Curcumin to Pure Curcumin.
Natural Genius combines turmeric and “enhanced BioPerine.” They claim that BioPerine is the only “sourced Piperine product” that has a patent. It might sound like a great deal of bells of whistles here, but the language is misleading if you know the ingredients.
Natural Genius contains 1950mg of Tumeric – which, if you read our Pure Curcumin review, is NOT the same as your body getting 1950mg of straight-up curcumin. The language used on their site is very misleading, but when you break down Natural Genius’s ingredients, their 1950mg of Tumeric translates to only 150mg of “Standarized Curcuminoids” plus 15mg of Bi-oPerine. Again, curcuminoids are beneficial natural compounds, but the one curcuminoid that you really want working for you is curcumin itself— and there’s nothing here to give you a sense of how much actual curcumin is in this product, if any.
Natural Genius is available in 40, 80, or 160-day supplies, ranging at price points from: $25.97-$89.92. This does make it one of the cheaper options up front.
As we mentioned above, Natural Genius has some budget-friendly price points, and perhaps a following of fans. But again: while turmeric root itself is wonderful, consuming turmeric is NOT the same as letting your body enjoy a potent dose of the actual curcumin compound itself! This product does not even mention curcumin (only curcuminoids), and seems to hype their Bi-oPerine—which is really moot without enough actual curcumin to pair it with in the first place. Misleading language aside, we also are concerned at the lack of customer testimonials. They also only offer a 60-day money-back guarantee, whereas Pure Curcumin (which contains a whooping dosage of real curcumin)) gives you a generous 90-day money-back policy.
