What to expect
Minoxidil works slowly. Most men need to use it twice a day for 2 to 4 months before seeing regrowth, and results vary from person to person. Any hair you regrow lasts only as long as you keep using it.
Stop use and ask a doctor if you get chest pain, a rapid heartbeat, faintness, dizziness, sudden unexplained weight gain, swollen hands or feet, or scalp redness or irritation that does not go away.
